Small Standard Poodle Puppies

Small Standard Poodle Puppies

Our Three Small Standard Poodle Sisters

Here are the girls now all grown up from below… Rasta and Ivy at the end of the couch

We do not currently breed Poodles. We ended up keeping all 3 of these small standard Poodle girls for our own breeding program. We fell in DEEP LOVE.

We do breed a Small Standard Labradoodle and a Small Standard Aussiedoodle but we do not plan on breeding any Poodles in the near future. Sorry.

Small Standard Poodles for Sale in Washington State

We Kept All 3 Girls from Daisy’s Small Standard Poodle litter for our Breeding Program.

One is 35 lbs and the other two are 40 and 45 lbs. They all fall in the small range of 19-21 inches.

Small Standard Poodle PuppiesMom is a small standard poodle and Dad is a Moyen poodle which is the size between the mini and the standard size poodle. They are now 35-40 pounds and 19-20 inches tall. They are non-shedding and great for people with allergies. They’re the second smartest dog breed next to the border collie and they make amazing companions. Their great with kids, clowns, funny, loving and almost like having a real kid. Haha! They’re scary smart!!

These girls will be used in our F1 Aussiedoodle Breeding Program

They’re brown with small marks of white and have tons of SOFT silky curls and look like little brown Teddy Bears. They’re also super playful and very cuddly and have been raised with children, other dogs. These puppies come from two VERY healthy, high quality lines of Poodles.

NOT FOR SALE

A Moyen size poodle is not a mini poodle bred to a standard, it is an actual size of poodle.
Average Size:
Height: 15 – 20 inches (38 – 50 cm)
Weight: 20 – 35 pounds (9 – 13 kg)

Small Standard Poodle: This is what we consider to be a small standard. It may not match what others believe to be a small standard, they would just be called a standard but to us they are much smaller then some of the larger standard size poodles but not as small as a moyen or a mini. The AKC does not recognize the “small Standard or the moyen sizes” they would just be considered Standards or Minis.

Height: 18- 21 inches
Weight: 35 – 45 pounds

A small standard Poodle is just that.. smaller sized standard Poodles bred to each other to produce smaller standards.

Standard Poodle Size:

Height:  22-27 inches tall
Weight: 45 – 70 pounds.

The small standard is at the bottom of these averages.

The Poodle is ranked 2nd smartest breed of dog breed next to the border collie.

They’re also among the most obedient and easiest to train dog breeds, the standard poodle combines playful exuberance with a zest for life’s adventures. It retains its hunting heritage and loves to run, swim and retrieve. It gets along well with everyone, although it can be somewhat reserved with strangers so make amazing alert dogs. You will feel safe with a poodle in your home. They’re not barkers but they will alert bark once or twice to let you know someone is on your property. They want to protect their owners. They are very family orientated and do not do well as outside only dogs. They want to be close to you. Poodles are excellent with children.

Historically Poodles have been used as circus dogs, hunting dogs and service dogs. Most people do not know that Poodles are water dogs. Poodles are renowned for being one of the most trainable dog breeds. Due to their intelligence poodles have been trained an almost unlimited number of tasks, including hunting, agility and even jumping rope!

What about the Doodles?

All of these qualities found in the poodle is exactly why the poodle is such a great dog to mix with other amazing breeds like the Lab, Golden and Australian Shepherd to make what we now call Poodle Hybrids..  Mixing the breeds does not spoil the pure bred bloodline it only makes for an equally awesome hybrid! We don’t believe mixing the breeds is a bad thing if it’s done responsibly. Meaning you’re breeding the best of each breed in regards to breed standards. You have to breed a beautiful AKC registered bloodline to another in order to produce the best of both breeds.

Our goal here at Dreamydoodles is to produce such amazing Labradoodles and Aussiedoodles that once they see them you would never call them mutts. Because if our dogs are just useless mutts then so are all dogs because honestly, there is no such thing as a true pure bred dog.. except for the wolf I guess.. all domestic breeds were originally designed by man by mixing the available breeds usually to produce a dog for a specific purpose or job.. imagine that.. so who gets to say enough is enough? No more new breeds allowed! Who has the authority to say that? No one.

I have put a lot of time and energy into producing a beautiful bloodline of multi generation Labradoodles and we’ve only just started our Aussiedoodle bloodline a few years ago and already they’re show stoppers.

Mattie - Standard F1 Aussiedoodle

Mattie – Standard F1 Aussiedoodle – Does this look like a mutt to you?

The Dam of this litter was a Small Standard Poodle, Daisy and she’s 45 pounds and 21 inches tall (versus a 27 inch tall Poodle which is HUGE in comparison and something like a small horse) she’s brown and the smartest dog I’ve ever owned and since we planned to retire her after this litter we decided to breed her for small standard poodles so that we could keep one….we decided to keep all three once we saw how perfect they were.

About the Poodle

If you don’t like the foo foo poodle look just don’t shave their face. If you don’t shave the poodle they look EXACTLY like a Doodle!

We do not breed Poodles regularly this was a one time deal to carry on Daisy’s bloodline.

Please do not contact us looking for poodle puppies. Sorry, we do NOT BREED POODLES.

This was a one time breeding for our program and I kept them all.

If your looking for a poodle check out the following breeders, I have purchased a poodle myself from all three and highly recommend them:
