Health Information:

Vaccines: This puppy has received one dose of the Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv vaccine at 8 weeks old. Please see the vaccine booklet for exact dates and information on the next booster (due in 3-4 weeks). This vaccine provides protection against Canine Distemper Virus, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza Virus, and Parvovirus (modified live viruses).

Deworming: This puppy was dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks old. Continue deworming in two weeks, followed by a routine schedule of every 3 to 6 months. We recommend using Safe-Guard (Fenbendazole). Safe-Guard treats 6 different intestinal worm types common to the outdoor dog including Giardia.

General Health Guarantee:

At the time of purchase, this puppy is guaranteed to be in good health, up to date on vaccines, and free from known diseases or birth defects. Buyers must have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 7 days. If the puppy is diagnosed with a health issue, it may be returned for a full refund. Buyers are responsible for transportation and all veterinary costs during the post-adoption exam.

2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee:

Covers hereditary or congenital genetic defects that impact the puppy’s quality of life before the age of 5 or significantly shorten its lifespan. A confirmed diagnosis by a veterinarian must be provided. If a genetic defect is confirmed, buyers will receive a refund for half the original purchase price. This agreement does not include a replacement puppy or discount.

Limitations:

The guarantee does not cover common canine health issues like cancer, allergies, infections, behavioral problems, or conditions caused by environmental factors.

Spay/Neuter Agreement:

This puppy is sold as a “pet-only” with no breeding rights. Breeding without written permission is considered a breach of contract and will incur a $3,000 fee.

Spay/Neuter Timing:

Spaying or neutering before one year can raise the risk of joint issues and certain cancers. We encourage owners to research early spay/neuter effects and consider alternatives like tubal ligation or vasectomy. Timing is a decision between you and your vet. However, early spay/neuter leading to joint disease, such as hip dysplasia, voids our genetic health guarantee for these conditions.

Rehoming Policy:

If you can no longer care for your puppy, Dreamydoodles Northwest will assist you with rehoming or take full ownership if necessary. Buyers may rehome the puppy independently but must notify Dreamydoodles and provide the new owner’s contact details. This puppy must never be relinquished to a shelter or rescue.

Socialization and Training:

Early socialization is critical. Introduce your puppy to various people, environments, and experiences during the first few months. This will help them adapt to new situations and reduce stress throughout their life. Obedience training is also essential and should begin as early as possible.

Legal Agreement:

This contract constitutes the entire agreement between Dreamydoodles Northwest and the buyer. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Clark County, Washington.
